Clear case of welching due to failure to read. I have a Vortex flash hider in the EE here: link to ad
He posted "i'll take it" and then backpedaled because I wouldn't take Paypal....although my ad CLEARLY states postal money order only. Here are the communications:

Sounds like a failure to read the ad on his part, but not a welch. You never agreed to sell it to him.

Once a person says "i will take it" AFAIK, they just obligated themselves to buy it. I'll let the mods sort it out.

I am sorry that you are taking offense to me retracting my "I'll take it, PM Sent" since you refused my offer to pay with paypal.
I have missed out on a lot of good deals and try to move quickly when I see something I've been watching for. I missed the "only" in my haste.
This was my mistake and I tried to undo it quickly so you didn't miss a sale to the next possible customer.
I am not able to get a Postal Money Order for at least another week due to my work schedule. Are you wanting to wait?

The mods have repeatedly held up "Unless there is an 'I'll take it' and 'It's yours'" there's no deal. He said he would take it, but you didn't accept.

You did not accept his "I'll take it". You basically rejected the terms of his offer when you told him you didn't accept PP.

If this is indeed the case, then so be it.
So many times there are users here that simply do not read the entire ad, agree to buy and welch, and then it's let go. Another user has similar issues with the same "buyer" and it could have been avoided by being brought to the site's attention. So basically if I welch quick enough then it's no big deal? It's no sweat off my back...I'm not starving for cash. Just trying to do my part as a member on the site. I will wait for the mods to reply. The buyer offered to buy using paypal, seller declined that offer so there was no consummated deal here.
That being said I would strongly suggest to the buyer that you take the time and thoroughly read ads before saying "I'll take it".
If you had not added the paypal part in your reply you would be on the hook to send that Postal MO that the OP's ad clearly states is required to purchase his item, savvy?

Sounds good Gatorhunt. ATRepair, I wasn't suggesting that you had made a mistake before. I was simply saying that there are some users here who get away with welching more than once because others do not report them. I will edit the title, and we can let this go to the archives.
