Listed my Aimpoint Pro on here

http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_7_23/950289_Aimpoint_PRO__NIB.html

First responder was gixx who stated he'd take it in my thread. He and I exchanged several emails over a day or two, resulting in his apparent inability to obtain funds to pay me. Fortunately, another buyer came behind him and picked it up, though I was rather upset about this, and gixx only has five total posts on the forum.

Yes 420. Nothing further. It will cost you a little more than 420 to actually send the funds but you understand paypal I'm sure. And this is the correct email as well

It's just a form of paypal where you can send money without being specific about what you're sending funds for. The funds normally cost less to send too, as they don't offer paypal protection. It's the most common form of funding used on the forum. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I haven't used it, I bought it just before I got the deal I wanted on a T1.

What is PP gift? I have a paypal account but never heard of this.
I am very interested in this optic.

The purpose of a negative feedback thread is to get the situation resolved. This can't happen now that it's been sold.

You'll also need to edit the personally identifying information out of the communication thread you posted. Remove names and usable-email addresses.

By selling it to the next person you didn't give gixx1070 a chance to make good on his word.

Of course, but for all we know a little pressure would have gotten him to purchase it. It's a tough decision and I'm glad I don't have to make it.

If I was told by the prospective buyer that he could not purchase my item because he could not put it on a credit card on PayPal, that tells me that he does not have the money to purchase with cash. The seller was justified in moving to the next person in line. Lets see what gixx1070 has to say if anything.

Just so all understand I'm just not some big crybaby regarding this. Yes, he publicly agreed to buy it, and posted in my thread as such, barring others from buying it. He agreed to buy it at the initial cost, not the lower cost I had to sell it at later as a result. He posted he'd take it then began emailing me questions about what pp gift is and asking for pictures, before ultimately deciding he didn't want it anymore. After all of this, I mistakenly posted in my thread (instead of updating) that my buyer had balked and it was still for sale, and later that it was SPF. This caused my ad to be locked so I could not leave feedback for the buyer who actually kept his word. I contacted an admin simply about unlocking my thread, and asked if I should do anything regarding gixx1070 and what had occurred, to which I was told to post in this thread regarding it.

Well, gixx1070 does not seem interested in addressing this issue. He logged in and posted yesterday. So, he deserves the -1 for the welch.
