G3/ HK91 22lr conversion kit not working?

Ok, so a question before I really start #$%^ something up..............
I have a Springfield SAR8 (HK91) and have finally got curious to shoot the German 22lr conversion kit I have for it.
So I got everything in the proper place but when I charge the rifle, the bolt carrier group binds, so it is stuck rearwards.
I took off the trigger group and it moves back/forth freely, suggesting it is binding on the hammer or ejector???
The rifle works fine other wise but do I need to do something with the trigger group or am I missing something?

There are two kits one is full auto and one is semi
you have a full auto kit
the fix is a 2 " piece of rubber tubing slipped over your guild rod or build a pre 1986 $20 k pack
