a friend just received a c93. with the mag(s) all the way in, seated and locked, the bolt is very hard to pull back. shooting it and it jams by the 4th or 5th shot by stovepiping. if you just hit the mag release allowing the mag to drop just by slightest bit, like .003 or so the bold comes back as it should. you can see the wear on the top of the mags.
any ideas what is out of whack? it happens with both mags. i'm figuring that the monkeys at century. i'm guessing he will be sending it back for replacement or repair.

They are nice weapons, just may need to fine turn it before it is 100%.

What type of mags are you using? You may want to try a different mag type.

My buddy has one that takes the steel and aluminum mags OK, but the plastic ones require some mods.

If you feel the mag is sitting too high, you can trim the mag catch or mag catch area on the mag to let the mag sit lower.

Where in PA are you? If in the Pittsburgh area, I can take a look at it for you.

Thanks,

they're the factory 40rd aluminum ones. does it with both mags. something in the reciever is off. if it was the other way....bolt not picking up the round it would be easier to fix but this was you will have a loose fit mag. plus one he screws with it he won't br able to return it.
