The sub-caliber kits for HK-91 are very accurate and reliable compared to most AR-15 .22 kits. The .22 barrel liner will not fully insert into a polygon bore barrel due to the HK's tapering polygon bore profile. I had to have my .22 kit barrel liner turned down slightly on a lathe to fully fit my early HK-91.

Whatever you pay now you will pay more later. This is a must have kit.

I reviewed it here but this is the one I can find.

You should try shooting some of the German Blue Plastic ammo.

It won't damage your bore because it has a 22 LR barrel insert that fits into you 7.62mm Nato barrel.

I've got one that I run in my H&K/Fleming 51. Hell I bought 25K .22 just to feed it.

You just walked up to the pope and suggested that he take a look at christianity.

But hey, I really like that picture at the bottom of the home page. Hubba hubba.

I got one of these kits about 8 months ago and it has been the best investment i've made in a while I'v put thousands of rounds through mine and love it. very reliable! If you have any type of g-3 clone get one of these you will not be sorry.

The funnest part about having one of these is when you take your full sized HK91 to an indoor range and they get all in your business telling you that you can't shoot rifle caliber there. Then you just show them one of the mags with .22 rnds. in it and they chill out.

Ain't that the truth! Same experience as mine when I took my PTR out for the first time. Just picture a 5'6" 170 pound guy walk into the range with an 18" PTR (with wide handguard/bipod & A2 stock) slung on my shoulder, I thought everybody was gonna have a heart attack at the range when they saw me!

When I tell 'em that it's got a 22LR conversion, they all ask "Is this a new GSG"?
