I'm swapping a falfiles member my inch parts for metric. What metric kit should I use for my carbine build? He's got an imbel, G1, and multiple STG58 kits.

Which would best?

Its getting cut. Sorry. Be happy, I'm already going out of my way to not cut a fully chrome lined L1A1 barrel. So pick, which barrel would be best? STG barrels seem to get great reviews touting their accuracy.

For value sake, the trade should be for an StG58 kit. That would be a fair swap. It would also result in you having an excellent quality rifle. I would encourage you to use the StG58hand guards and bi pod for display purposes only. If he has a spare set, see if your trade partner will include a set of synthetic hand guards with the deal.

Thank you. I appreciate all your help in this. He's going to show me how to do all the work, so I'm getting much more than parts out of this. I'll be sure to bring my camera!

I've always wanted a set of steel handguards, but I'm not sure what kind of furniture he has. He's led me to believe he's got a garage that looks much like a Sarco warehouse.
