Just got this back from Jon. He converted my 18.5" into an CMP legal build. Please enjoy the pics!! If it shoots anything like it looks I will be very happy!!!
Getting closer
Nice bubble wrap!
Omg!! It does exist!
Nice proof mark on the new stock
New stock vs old! Quite a difference.
Unitized gas cylinder
Wolfe medium weight barrel
Trw bolt
Forged receiver
Usgi op rod
Nm sights with honed flash hider
Usgi trigger group
All together! Quite a beautiful rifle.
And she came over and claimed it was hers, and yes she does shoot!

Can't be hers till she learns to hold it right... ;-)
I want to fornicate with your stock
what kind of reciever and barrel?
Receiver is an 7.62mm that actually works! Barrel is an ss Jon Wolfe design. A great barrel!
You'll be happy with the rifle. Jon built one for me on a new Fulton receiver and a parts kit I had. Used one of his new barrels also. I've had it about two years now. Haven't had any problems with it. Shoots better than I can.
Beautiful rifle! Jon does super work and is a very nice guy to deal with.

Any idea on a load for it? It didn't like my 41.5 gr of imr4895 with an 168amax. It holds the 10 ring at 200 but that's about it so about 5-6"

The cast steel 7.62 receivers don't work?
A forged receiver is nice for bragging rights and all, but hardly required for accuracy or reliability.
It's forged. Some of the 7.62 receivers have been way out of spec and unable to be used.
Very nice gun.
