Anyone have experience with the Promag M1A stock?
They are like any thing else, some people swear by them, some swear at them. Some people call them a blatent ripoff of the JAE stock. Some people feel that their rifle is a bit more accurate in the Promag stock. I have one, installed on a my son's scout. Both of us like the feel and the look, but we haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I got it for my Polytech, and he claimed it.

I still plan on getting one.
They are not a direct drop in. Some fitting is required, which is what I have to do to my son's. I have to fit a stock ferrule to the front end. But it did drop in and the lock up is tight. But, we got it second hand, and the previous owner did some fitting to it.

Well I bought one. Got it today. Took a good bit if filing to get it to fit and I really had to cam the trigger guard to pull the receiver down into the stock. Seems pretty well made. It's comfortable and feels solid. I've got a Sadlak mount on the way. Haven't decided on rings or glass. I doubt I'll take her to the range until I get the glass mounted.
