Mailed form 1 and check a week ago??

Mailed everything out on the 20th of this month, and they haven't cashed my check yet is this normal, how long does it generally take after sending in your check should it be cashed?

Normal, they will cash the check sometime between now, and the next 9 months when your stamp comes back. You should go pending in a month or so.

I knew it would be a lifetime for the stamp to come back , just wasn't sure about the check, it seems from what I have read they do the money thing pretty quickly!

Mailing it on the 20th means it's only been 5 business days. They probably just received your check and it will take another week or two to clear the blank. Don't worry about it unless you haven't seen it by the end of May. Then you can try and call.

The best thing to do is just forget it for about a month, call to make sure it went pending ok, and then forget about it again.

It takes 3-4 weeks for payment to clear. They convert the check to an electronic debit.

Ok, thanks. Everyone was just always joking on how quick they take your money but how long it takes for you to get your stamp, so I was think they would cash it quickly and was worried it got lost in mail.

I sent a form 4 on the 17th, and another form 4 and a form 1 on the 19th. All three checks had cleared by the 25th.

JUST GOT MINE BACK, I MAILED EVERYTHING OCT 20TH AND RECIEVED MY STAMP APRIL 20TH SO 6 MONTHS TO THE DAY, FOR MY SBR UZI.

I WOULD BE YELLING TOO IF I GOT MY STAMP BACK! But I still got 5 more months to go. :(

ATF NFA cashed my check today! Now how long until I get my stamp?

About 7 months. You will probably have it in-hand by Christmas, unless approval times keep creeping up.

Dang, Christmas? I was hoping end of Aug., beginning of Sep. . It doesnt hurt to dream right?
