 10.25"-10.5" upper?

I'm new on here and I'm sure this has been asked 10,000 times, but what's a good length and good quality free float 4 rail for a 10.25"-10.5 inch upper, I'm doing my paper work and buying an upper when it comes back and it just seems easier and cheaper to order the upper with the normal handgaurds and switch them out with after market ones. The reason for the 1/4" difference is because if I go with the RRA it's 10.5" and if I go with Model 1 it's 10.25". Thanks for the help!

I think it's more of a preference. For instance how much the the barrel do you want sticking out of the rail. I'm using a 12" Midwest Industries T12 on my 10.5" SBR.

I'm not sure if I'm going with the low profile 2 rail gas block or stay with the A3 style upper, which do you recommend?

Use a pinned low profile gas block or shaved front sight base and a 9" LaRue or Troy TRX. Best of everything, I think.
