How do I add items to an existing NFA trust?

Hey guys,

I did a Quicken trust a few years ago for my subgun and want to start adding suppressors. I bought a can a few weeks ago and have the paperwork from the dealer with my Trust's name on it but am not sure how to proceed... There has to be more to it than adding the can to the Schedule A, right?

You have to include a complete copy of your trust just like you did the first time. You do not add a item to your schedule A until it is transferred. So this time your schedule A will have your sub gun listed.

That's what has worked for me! I have one SBS and two suppressors.

The first time I submitted the trust I listed the subgun because the trust owned it, I just couldn't possess it.. Maybe a call to NFA branch is in order-I hate to do that being as busy as they are..

No need to call...The approved form 4 is the legal proof the trust owns the weapon. send all the same stuff you did the last time you used the trust, thats all. When you get the stamp, you can fill out an assignment of property and keep it with your trust paperwork. I am not an lawyer, I just sleep with one.
