Need savage 10fp help

A while back when shooting my savage 10, I went to pull the bolt to the rear to remove the spent cartridge and the bolt would not budge. So eventually after hours of playin with it, it finally broke free. And now it has happened again, over 2 years later, exact same thing happened, except this time, the extractor was broken off, and the spent cartridge will not come out of the chamber, even after hammering on it with a rod and hammer. Any ideas as to what may be causing this?

Reloads? Factory ammo? What caliber? Did you recently do anything to the gun (replace the scope, etc.)? When is the last time you cleaned the chamber? If a reload, give details. Could be a number of things.
