Kel Tec Sub2000 + Blazer alluminum?

Recently purchased a Sub2000 9mm and the manual says to avoid using blazer alluminum case ammo but does not say why, does anyone know?

aluminum cased ammo has a nasty habit of separating (middle of the case) in blow back / rear locking lug carbines. I spent 1hour taking the front part of a .357 aluminum blazer case out of a puma 92 once

I've fired several hundred rounds of Blazer and steel cased ammo through mine with no ill effect.

Nutnfacny did a test and the results were ify.
