I was looking at the Wild West Trigger as a replacement for my marlin 336, Any personal experience with this product out there? Thanks for looking.

It makes me Happy......................

I use the WWG "Happy Trigger" and it makes the world of difference and takes away the flop. It is a crisp and clean trigger, worth every penny.

Some shooters and hunters (most) keep their triggers stock, as they often feel their rifles work good enough as is. Others do not shoot enough to worry about the added expense. I have rifles that are stock, and a few with "Happy" triggers. I have not found that they sacrifice anything in terms of reliability or ruggedness. As with most of Jim's products, they are first class and they stand behind them. Having a much cleaner "break" it also allows for more precise shots out range (IMHO, YMMV).

Hope this helps.

I have the WWG Happy Trigger on seveal leverguns. They are a vast improvement over the factory. Another, though not really necessary, item from WWG is the Bear Proof ejector. I'd suggest that since you already have it apart, you install one of those, as well.

I had one and it was okay but honestly it wasn't worth $80 or whatever they go for. Do yourself a favor and go to the Marlin Owners website. There you will find info on how to do your own trigger job for FREE.

Yes, well you cold go to Marlin Owners, but be sure to drink the Koolaid. Those who disagree with the Net Nazi there get banned rather quickly.

You'd do better at Paco Kelly's Leverguns.com

I put one in my 1894CSS, and I liked it so much I put one in my 184SS as well. I'd recommend that trigger to anyone.
