I found a Marlin 62 at a local pawn shop. Asking price is $495. It looks a little rough with some pitting on the barrel. I have never seen one, but it is very interesting. 1 1/2" lever throw. Pretty cool. What should I offer?

Pass. I would think that would be high for one with a pristine barrel but showing use on the outside.
