Any lever actions in non-rimmed pistol calibers?
Rather new to the world of lever actions, but I did score a really nice (pristine, really) Marlin 336 in .44 Mag, 1960's vintage. Now I am having to buy a revolver in .44 caliber to go with it (.44 Special Vaquero Sheriff's model is looking likely)
Got me to wondering, are there any lever actions in the non-rimmed pistol cases, such as .45 ACP, 10mm, 9mm, etc.? Would make for a nice combo set of a lever and a 1911....
I think not. Most of what I know that's available is matching Colt SAA and clones calibers -.32, 38/357, 44, 45LC , older calibers too like 44-40, but not 9mm 45apc. You need flat nose bullets to prevent a magazine ND during recoil.
I remember seeing one short take-down that was in .45ACP somewhere but not sure where. It was a custom job of course.
ETA: Here's some info on one:

Check out some of the caliber conversions from
Mic McPherson under
WHATS POSSIBLE WITH A MARLIN.
You can have almost any pistol caliber levergun you want, but you will pay a pretty penny for it.

They are out there but all are custom jobs. None were offered by the factory.
A 9mm lever gun would be tits. Id love to know how much $ it would cost.
I have been told that Winchester made .45 ACP Model 92s for the South American market. I have also been told that they didn't.
I think a .45 ACP carbine would be a great idea. It would go great with my 1911 pistols, my S&W 625, my Uberti single action, and my CavOly .45.
Maybe I should get a life, instead of collecting .45 caliber firearms.
That would be sweet though (.45acp) to go with 1911s. Might rather have a .45 AR like yours though
