Will Winchester Bring Back The 1894 Rifle?
Do you think Winchester will bring back their 1894 rifle again?
I would like to get one for my son when he grows up.
I would think there is still a big market for the classic Winchester lever action hunting rifle like the 1894 model.

They brought it back for 2011. The 1894 Short Rifle and Sporter. Straight from Miroku, Japan.
No, I do not think that there is a large market for lever guns. That is not to say that you cannot sell them, just that tastes have changed.
If they were to make an "American" made 94 with with Special order items or some classic calibers like the 38-55, they would sell a few. There are millions of basic 94's on the market and I doubt they could sell the numbers needed.
Buy an old one.
VW "brought back" the Bug...
No. If they bring it back, it will only have the familiar look, not the same mechanics. It will have safeties, scope mount screw holes, cheap ass bluing and finish. Not the same. It would be like the Model 70 remake.
The LGS has at least 8 Win 94s and several Marlin 336s, most all in .30-30.
Pre 64 models please.

Never going to happen.
Do you use a 1960's telephone or drive a 1960's car?
Browning designs are from a time when labor was cheap. That time has past.
I just got a nice pre 64 used for less than 500.00. I would just look around for a nice used one.
