Very, very cool! Way beyond my means, though. For an amateur "hobbyist", that bastard sure has a nice workshop.

I mentioned the article I have that shows how to do this conversion. The basic process isn't all that complicated, but getting everything to fit right, and then get it finished will make the difference between a great piece of work and a hack job. Both will work, but only one is interesting.

Yes that's the exact thing I want to do to mine.....unfortunately I don't have the tools or skills to do it myself and the cost to have someone else do it looks like it's more than the Rossi costs to start with........too bad someone can't convince Rossi to make a production takedown model.

That is sweet! Probably double or triple the cost of the rifle to do that work.

Mine was $225..........
