I just bought a Marlin 1894 in 44MAG - www.marlinfirearms.com/Firearms/1894Centerfire/1894.asp

Is there a source for an over-sized/loop lever for this gun?

Thanks in advance.

Wild West Guns in AK has been good to me.

If I can get off my but I'll send them my 1894P .44 mag to get the action worked over & add the big loop lever.

DRC in Texas makes a very nice large loop lever for the 1894.

Very nice rifle, and I see that it is a take down as well.

That's in .45ACP correct? How's it shoot? Did the lever require much modification?

The # for DRC is 817-783-6099. I believe the website has been down for awhile.

David Clay, DRC does not have a website. He is a one man shop. The lever is made by DRC. If you give him a call he make one up for you. David Clay made the 1894 into a 16 1/2" take down that is chambered in 45 ACP. It shoots great. Lever action,1911's and 625's shooting a 200 SWC.

Brownells carries the WW loops. So does Midway Midway lists the DRC but also show it as discontinued.

It says those are for the 1895. I don't know if they would work on a 44mag 1894 Marlin.

They do not interchange.

Brownells previous paper catalog showed one for the 1894, but the part number would not come up on their web site.

I just got their latest catalog yesterday and it was not there, just the 1895 and Guide Gun versions.

Ooops, sorry, I misread it.
The link for Wild West Guns mentions the 1894, but it also says you need to send in yours. I guess you'd have to call them.
