I recently acquired a AMSEC TL-15 safe and am looking for some basic info.
It was aparently made in 2001 so I cant really compare it to their 2011 catalog.
I am looking for a approximate weight of it (its heavy).
I was also wondering about what it would be worth if i decided to sell it (its strapped to a pallet in my garage).
Basic dimension's 38" tall 26" wide and 20" deep.
Walls and door all appear to be 1" thick.
One other thing anyone now where i can get a key to change the Combo it has a S&G Group 2M lock.

+/- 1,400 pounds

There are a lot of banks and business that have been closed due to the economy, so safes like this aren't very hard to come by. Even though I'm a big fan of steel, the fact that these safes offer little fire protection makes them even harder to sell. As it is, probably $500 or so. I would sell something like that completely refurbished with a warranty for +/- $1,500.

Any standard S&G 3 wheel key should work. If you do not know the history of this safe, I would advise against setting the combination and using it. Locking yourself out of a safe like this will cost you big money. You'd be better off having a safe tech come out, replace the lock, and set the combination while he's there.
