Sun Welding Safe ? Took a look at it. Please give me some opinions!

This is for sale local and wondering if anyone had any knowledge of it, the company, or opinions on worth. It is 73" tall, 40" wide, and 24" deep.

Just googled "ar15.com sun welding safe" and didn't see anything negative about them. Seem to be continuously welded frame. Any idea of the fire rating or the steel thickness? If the price is right, Shouldn't be a bad RSC. What is the finish on the inside of the door? You won't regret having the taller size.

I do not believe it is fire rated. From what I have found online it appears the door is a pegboard type material. I like the continuously welded. The fire rating is not a must for me. I am going to go take a look at it. Not sure on the thickness. The guy says its about 500-600lbs is all he could tell me.
When I go look at the safe what should I really be looking at? Any way to tell thickness of the plate? Other than just looking at the fit and finish I am not real sure how to evaluate a safe without having the design specs?
When you say if the price is right what would be a good range. I believe he is asking around $900.

I used to live in Ventura right next to Simi Valley. I have a sun welding safe and lots of friends do also. They would do groop buys for the locals if you come pick them up. Havent have any issues in the last 14 years with the one I have, My eletric lock just burned out after 14 years. There safes are good to go in my experence with them. Unless the safe you are looking at is a top or the line model it is probly 10ga steel. FYI the safe in the pict is not fire lined.

Ok so I went a took a look at it. I believe it is a 10ga body however might be a little thicker. And it is simply a metal shell. After looking its the door that greatly concerns me. I has 3 lockers on each side of the door however the design of the door puts the front of the door overlaping the front of the safe. This just seems to be a perfect leverage point. After looking at it is not as secure as what I was hoping for but may have its use. Any ideas on what a fair price would be or other thoughts?
