Local farm supply store has these on sale. I'm torn between the Fatboy, which seems to have better "security" specs, or the Patriot PS 50, which is a 72" model. I really, really like the additional height of the Patriot model, vs the 60" of the Fatboy. Both are the same price, $1479.
Fatboy:

2) Patriot PS 50 (I think it's called the Colonial line, now), $1479:

What's going to be the "real world" difference in security between these two? If the difference is minimal-to-nonexistant, I'd prefer to have the taller unit. If there's a significant difference in security...then I guess I'll have to make my choice...
$1479 for a Fatboy is a really really good price. You get 30min extra fire rating over the PS50, although Liberty has a guy in their catalog whose Fatboy lasted for 3hrs in his garage at 100k BTU's and kept 95% of his guns in good condition. For that price you can't go wrong, IMO. I'd go Fatboy and never look back.
Local farm supply store. Race Brothers is the name. I think I'be decided to go with the Big Horn 7144 over both of these, though. It seems to be a better value.
