Help me design a new rack for my safe...

I am tired of trying to get long guns in and out of my safe, and as much as I would like to buy a bigger one, there is no way for me to pull it off any time soon.
I have a Browning safe that I got about 15 - 16 years ago. It was originally set up to hold about 10 long guns, with shelves on the other side. I took the shelves out a few years ago and just use the shelf on top for small stuff and handguns. Even with that set up, it was a hassle to get stuff in and out. I made a new "rack" for the barrels to rest in, going around the sides and out in the middle. This basically makes to outward facing U shaped areas that hold the long guns on both sides.
I have been able to fit about 20 long guns in it, but it is still not ideal. When I cut the notches, I got them too close and now some of the bolts hit or there is not enough clearance for a couple rifles with stock packs.
I am going to sit down with some graph paper and see if I can't come up with something better, but figured I would through it out here and see what others have come up with. I want to try and store 20 long guns and not have to take half of them out to get to the stuff in the back. The available space inside the safe is 28.75" wide and 21.5" deep. This gives room for the door to close and for the "rack" to fit in on the little shelf clips.

Dump making a rack.......buy some riflerods. They free up a good amount of room in the safe

Three horizontal rows: 7-6-7 so the middle row of six slots are staggered between the front and back rows of 7. Still thats not a big safe for 20 long guns unless they are all shotguns.

Think Ruber coated rebar (not that heavy though) stickin up from floor of safe... Each one gets a Rifle or long gun barrel down...

Rifle Rods............. You will not find any other product......that will give you the room that rifle rods do. Just pick up some of them and you will, wonder why any Safe MFG. Does not become exclusive partners with those guys.

Or make rifle rods yourself. Several of us on here have done so with success.
