 522: How is the fit between the upper & lower?

It's not too bad. It's a composite lower with metal upper and it fits pretty well. Better than that, it is probably the most reliable tactical .22 rifle eating everything that is thrown it's way with great accuracy out to 100 yards.

My 3 are tight like tigers...

Even the one with 30,000 rounds through it has almost no slop in the upper/lower and bolt... the stock on the other hand rattles like a chevy..

Put two boxes of Automatch (650 rounds) through my daughter's 522 today. That brings the total round count to over 13k. The upper/lower fit on her rifle is good and snug, despite the round count.

That little Sig still brings a smile to her face every time we take it out. Dollar for dollar and pound for pound, her 522 is one of the most fun to shoot guns we own

When a thirteen year old kid still wants to shoot with her old man, I'd say it was money well spent.
