As always, thanks for looking

Recently, Dawg180 from Manticore Arms gave me the opportunity to test fit the new Scorpion Grip from his company on a Sig522. I've had the grip for a few days now, and just got the chance to hit the range with my daughter to give it a thorough test drive. The new grip is extremely comfortable to use, and fits very nicely on the 522. I'm greatly looking forward to trying one of my 556s as well.

Here are some pics of the new grip installed on my daughters rifle:

Overall we were both very happy with the new grip, and we are looking forward to putting more rounds downrange with it this weekend

All is there a huge difference in feel, what makes this grip so much better? Is ergo better?? Thanks for the info.

Yes, the grip follows the natural curve of the hand and feels more like shooting the AR platform; and the safety is far easier to engage. I ordered one for my 556ER just to try it out and compare it to the factory one still on my 522 and well, as mentioned before, I'm ordering my second one for the 522.

Yes this grip allows me to reach the mag release button and manipulate the safety lever without much fuss, worth the $!

Yeah, the Scorpion grip is a bit narrower front to back than OEM. My daughter is thirteen, and her hands are on the small side. With the new grip installed she can drop the mag without breaking her shooting grip, and that's a huge step forward. I am looking forward to installing Scorpion grips on my 556 Patrols for the same reason. Even though my hands are a lot bigger than hers, I still can't drop a mag on the 556 without shifting my shooting grip. I've also been looking at oversized mag release buttons as well to address the issue

I believe Dawg180 (the owner and head engineer of Manticore Arms) is developing a solution for the mag release reach issue that so many of us have been dealing with.
