Sig 551 lower. Sig take notice

I have to 556 sigs and a new 551. I really like the lower on the 551 because of the Swiss mag release lever (Like H&K G3, FAL and others) Why cant Sig make the new lower they did for the 551 but that will accept AR mage. I really do like the 551 mag better but they cost a lot. I like the way the Swiss 551 mags automatically can be hooked together.

Maybe I suck at reading.... It seems you wrote that you want rock and lock mags, but don't want rock and lock mags.

You're saying you want a lower that takes 556 (AR) magazines, but uses the release lever like on the Swiss style lowers?

Yeah! I like Ar 15 mags and have hundreds of them but the Rock & Lock is just better for mag changes. The other night I took bot an Ar and the Sig 551 into a room, turned off the lights and did a mag change on both. The 551 was blooming easy while I had to fumble around a little with the AR to find the button. The Swiss 550 mags are the *hits as well. Well made and clear and have teh hooks on the side to join mags together without have a clip or holder. I wish Sig or aomeone would import them in bulk enough to bring the price down to around $25 or $30. Right now there are lots in country but they are going for $50 a pop. The mag locks into the well of the 551 easy and smoothly and stays firm and tight. I can move my finger forward without looking and drop the mag and pop in another with ease. I have an HK G3 and a PTR 91 and the same thing. The G3 has the lever and not a button like the PTR 91 Mag changes are much faster.
