522 hammer & trigger removal?
Anyone remove their hammer and trigger from their 522 for cleaning? Mine is filthy and needs cleaning, and I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to removing them.
I did to do the trigger spring mod. It was a while ago though.
If I remember correctly, I started by taking out the safety selector. This required removing the switch lever on one side by driving out a small roll pin. After that it was fairly straight forward.
It looks pretty easy, but I just want to make sure I don't do something stupid and mess it up. Thanks for the info.

522 Trigger jobwhat the hell would you remove your trigger for cleaning. just spray wd-40 on it and free the shit up with a tooth brush and blow it out with compressed air. i do this after every 500rds comes clean like new.
