Are there any Sig rifles that can use Ar15 mags?

Always wanted a Sig rifle. And now I have a chance to buy one, but want to get one if they can use Ar15 mags. Any models that do that?

Also, any model I should stay away from? Any quirks with any models?

Thanks in advance.

Don't all the sig 556 rifles accept AR mags?

Not sure, that's why I'm asking.

All American spec Sig rifles (556 and 516) accept any AR15 spec magazine. As far as quirks go...be prepared for stupid low recoil, great accuracy, unflappable reliability and one of the best out of the box triggers you've ever pulled.

Yes sir. I almost thought this question was a joke at first. To be honest, AR mags actually work better then the piece of crap magazine that comes with the rifle. How do you like that for irony?

No, not a joke, but some people seem to think so. I'm in the market for a non AR 5.56 rifle with a budget of around $1500 - $2500. At first, I really wanted an AUG clone by MSAR, but that was before I played with a Sig at the local gun store. Now, I'm deciding between what configuration to get, that is, until a member on here suggested I also look at the ACR or Scar. So, that is making my decision even tougher. Kinda leaning towards the ACR or Sig.

If you get an ACR hold out for the advanced model. I know this is going to make your decision harder, but I would consider purchasing a Robinson Armament XCR. That is one bad ass rifle if you ask me. They seem to be picking up in popularity as well. I think thats going to be my next rifle. Nutnfancy has an awesome introduction and review on Youtube. Freaking awesome rifle.

For me it would be easy if I had that kind of money burning a hole in my pocket FN SCAR

I couldn't have said it better myself. I love my AR like a firstborn, but if I had to choose one and sell the other I'd take my Sig (and it's just a 556 ER).
