AR barrels , what do you guys pay?

AR barrels , what do you guys who build uppers and rifles pay for Barrels?

Why is that?
You think with all the info of prices of guns and parts people don't know what things cost?
And who cares if they know what we pay.
They also would have to know what our overhead is and then it's still not a deciding factor of will they do business with us.
I had a customer flat out ask me what it cost me to build his AR pistol, most 07's I know would get defensive about it.
I told him, after I told him he would have to factor in a lot of other figures he wasn't going to get on my expenses.
He just wanted the cost of the parts and I told him.
I also told him I buy some parts 500 at a time.
Like barrels.
He has no ability or need to buy 500 AR barrels.

Obviously not because you're a dealer and you're asking.....
I just don't think its something that should be shared with the public. Some people are not smart enough to realize different size shops have different overhead, etc, etc....

You have to verify your an FFL to get in. Much more productive and people are comfortable sharing a lot more.
