 Trading weapons across state lines

I understand we both need to use FFLs, but how do I KNOW he is going to ship his weapon? What are the fees typically for this type of transaction (shipping and FFL use). I've never shipped nor recieved a firearm through the mail, always FTF.

Unless you use an escrow service (see GunBroker) there is no way to know for sure.This is why you you check the sellers feedback (AS A SELLER) before finalazing any transaction.

Shipping fee depends on what is being shipped, whether it is USPS/UPS/FedEx, weight, box dimensions, amount of insurance.

Interstate shipments must be received by a licensed dealer. Use the "Find a transfer dealer" search engine at GunBroker to see what they charge in your area.......fees vary greatly.
