the only paper you have is the 4473. The logbook is electronic with a BU copy, but no paper BU??
ATF requires you print an updated hard copy every 6 months.

Not if it's backed up daily, and can be saved to a flash drive, DVD, CD, etc. Read ATF Ruling 2008-2. If ATF came in and did an inspection you'd have to print it out.
I do both... and they compliment each other. It's not that much more work... and it creates another layer of redundancy for me.
If I find a mistake in one... the other can be used to correct it.
I still do a daily backup to the electronic system... and the paper bound book stays in the safe.
