 Procedure for getting a variance for an 07 FFL

Looking to have a small run of lowers made, and it is my understanding that I need this if I want my company on it. Anyone do this? What is the procedure? I have a call in to my Agent, but just wondering what others went through with this.

Also, what is a good company to use for this? I have been in contact with Tactical Machining and Mega. Any others people have used?

You will need a marking variance from Firearms Technology Branch; here is some info from ATF's webpage:

So if I am reading that correct, only the manufacturer of the lower needs to send in the form, not the local FFL who would have their name on the lower, correct?
