I plan to just put my Dillon size/deprime die in the single stage press. Is it going to be stong enough to size and deprime a 223 case?
Thanks in advance

Yes, i just full length sized and deprimed 500 cases on a lee single stage. It was great, compared to the hand press i had been using.
i say go for it and dont look back.

Okay thanks for the quick reply
No problem, glad to help. Banditman gave me the Lee single stage press, and i just set it up this weekend. I cant believe how much easier it is than the Lee hand press.
I mounted it to a 14 x 14 inch piece of pressed board, then i screwed another piece of pressed board onto the bottom of the first piece. I then used some C clamps and secured it to the kitchen table

. It was very stable mounted like this. I dont have much room for a proper reloading set up yet so thats the reason im using as such.
If you have your Lee single stage mounted up on a reloading bench you will have nothing but solid action.
Good luck, and post up pics of your finished rounds in the
Post your craftsmanship thread.

I have to agree, I love my Lee single stage Classic Cast. Outside of pistol rounds and 223, I load everything on it.
I use my Lee hand press while Im watching tv. Sometimes I do them on my 550, but lately its been on the handpress
