Anyone load Rem corloks or Win powerpoints? I have used these bullets in factory ammo. I always hear about Remington bullet failures but I have had excellent results personally. I am curious about the little 64gr Win 223 bullet.

I have loaded these bullets. I normally reload bonded bullets for hunting now. I had good luck with these bullets in the past but I have had better luck with the bonded or monolithic bullets and if you watch for deals, the bonded or monolithic bullets can be had for almost the same price as core lokt bullets.

I use them in 30/30 and .35 remington still. They seem do work well for that velocity range. As far as the 64pp it is a very good bullet for what it is accuracy is not as greatas others but it holds together and drives deep with good expansion. It was made to work on deer and it does so.If you like these bullets better get them now cause both companies are getting out of the component sales.I have 500 remington .35 200 grain core loct for my .35s.

I have about 2k Winchester 64 grain PowerPoints.

It is one of my favorite bullets in my AR15s when I am killing animals.

They work as well as a SGK or any other soft point in larger calibers.

I have had bullet failure when loading them for my .220 Swifts, but the .223 isn't going to fail one at it's lower velocities.

I have recovered a couple from coyotes at longer ranges, and they were picture perfect mushrooms.
