How do I attach a sling to the sling bar in the factory solid stock?

Like the title says, I cannot find a way to attach a sling to my gsg 5 stock. the clearance between that little bar that is about 1 and 1/2 inch in length that is inset in the stock, all clips that I have found with slings the snap hooks are to thick and nothing will connect to it correctly. ANy ideas?

Either run it the old fashioned way with a sling that has slide buckles. But since I am thinking your running a single point or 2 point sling then put a very small loop of 550 cord on it to link the snap.
