20 bucks turns into 600 so fast !

I went into my local gun store to pick up some ammo , just a couple boxes of 223 . I started looking around and saw a GSG 5 22lr . I picked it up and couldnt put it down . I ended up buying the rifle , a stock , armors wrench for my AR and a blackhawk holster for my 9 mm . Needless to say that i blew about 600 dollars today .
What are some common mods or accessories that you GSG guys go with ? Its the newer model with a rail built in on top .

Wish i could ! The state of RI doesn't allow SBRs , suppressors , AOWs , concealed carry . Nothing Fun ! I think im going to do a folding stock , a aimpoint and a nice sling.

I upgrade to hk pins, slim handguard, folding stock, stripped the crappy finish and guncoated it, still need a sling and want to get an hk rear sight for it, my $400 plinker is now damn near a $700 rifle. But i have so much fun shooting it.

I wish it was a little easier to SBR in my county. My CLEO refuses to sign so I'd have to do the trust or LLC thing. Seems like more trouble than it's worth.

shot it yesterday , needless to say it was awesome . We ended up putting 500 rds threw it , 1000 rds threw my ARs and about 500 rds or 9 mm and 45 . Very expensive day i had the most fun with the 22 . Where do you attach the slind to in the front ?

Inside of the box, in the packet with the manual, there should be a little eye loop looking piece that is the front sling loop. That attaches on the front end of the gun below the sight. If for some reason you did not receive that piece in the packet, please contact our customer service center at 800-290-0065 or at customerservice@americantactical.us to get one sent to you under warranty.

Update , cleaning this thing is not as easy as i thought , actually it sucks . Not sure at this point if its going back together the right way the first time

Get it back together? I'm no engineer...just watched a youtube vid to figure it out.

Yea , i was exaggerated a little bit . Compared to my pistols and ARs that thing is a complex piece of machinery. I cant find any pictures of my generation GSG with the UMP stock . Anyone have one ?

Not to be a wet blanket, but along that same argument... what if you get into the typical kind of new-world-order economic fix of today's economy and you suddenly need to turn it for some fast cash - that just isn't going to happen like it can with a "normal" rifle.
It's a beotch having a CL3 piece that you can't sell no matter how bad you need to - unless you practically give it away.
