Does anyone's extractor look like this? I have a GEN 2 purchased brand new a few years ago. I have hardly shot it due to consistent cycling issues and mostly sits in the back of my safe. After yet another unsuccessful range trip, I came upon some of these tips and decided to give it a shot. I am in the process of completely breaking down, cleaning, and re-lubing the gun, while looking for the other common issues. This is the only part I can see that potentially looks bad...
If this is a normal look, I remain hopeful my thorough cleaning and re-lubing will be the trick...
Thoughts?
Thanks!

Hello,
I just purchased my GSG-522 about a week ago and just checked it. My gun looks exactly like that. It seems to be some leftover crease from manufacturing maybe?
I sent mine in for warranty because I had all kinds of issues. Mostly FTF, and a few problems with the breech not closing all the way. I had a few stovepipes, but not many. I sent the gun back and they said the barrel had come unscrewed 1/2 a turn. They tightened it, and also replaced my etractor. Gun has run tip top ever since.
