Out at the range this morning and I noticed while using Pro-Mags I was getting a 3 rd burst about every 4 to 6 rds. Using factory mags no 3 rd burst. Anyone else have this problem?

If it were me, I would send the mags causing this issue back.

I don't see how this would? The sear and disconnect is designed to prevent this you need to contact ati and see what they suggest. So it never happens with ati mags? Only promags and how often? I would not shoot it anymore for fear of out of battery discharge that could ruin the gun. This should not be caused by a mag. a weapon doubles generally due to bad sear engagment or the disconnect is broke or malformed? maybe I am wrong I am not that totally in the know with these airsoft guns. so I may be wrong

After getting the burst with all 3 of the Pro Mags I stopped using them. Fired another 250 rds with the factory mags and no problems. ATI just did the extractor upgrade. No other mods have been done. I found it strange that a magazine would give you a 3 rd burst.

I bought a 522SD a little while back, and the first 10 mags or so I put through it would spit out a 3 rd. burst from time to time.
I kept shooting it till it quit. I guess it was maybe just because it was new or something I don't know, but I don't shoot at a
public range so I wasn't worried about it. I am confident that it has stopped now though.

Mine will still double tap automatically on occasion. I have only put about 300 rounds thru it though.

Check that the set screw on the bottom of the barrel is tight. I have seen this problem (hides dog) and found that the barrel had shifted causing slam fires. I reset the barrel to the proper orentation and blue locktited tha set screw and haven't had THAT problem since. Its not only aftermarket mags that will cause the issue.

I checked the set screw it is good and tight. Like I said before I didn't have this problem until the extractor rivet upgrade was done.
