My buddy used a dedicated AR in 22 with a Spikes upper with an Aimpoint and a ton of Magpul stuff, he's got over 1k in it! He was right behind me with only 1.2 sec between us. Most of the other guys were using the M&P plastic AR's.
The GSG got alot of looks and thumbs up.

Well congrats. I love the GSG, but mine has soo many problems I am considering dumping the platform and moving to a AR-15 22. I have a lot of money invested in mine (magazines, stocks, sights, etc). I am debating going for a 522, but I am afraid I will have the same problems with a new model. From what I have read, they seem to be hit or miss. They run like clock work, or they run like a pinto. Got a new 38mm Dot on the way, lower profile "tube" style rather that the current "loop" style. Can't wait to try 'er out on the 1st at the next Match.
