AAC Pilot and GSG-5 (original)--Question for the experts

I recently sent off the paperwork for an AAC Pilot for my P22. Could I slap this on my GSG-5 long rifle? Besides the fact that it might look weird with a slim long silver barrel and then a suppressor sitting way out there on the end of it is there any adverse items I should worry about? Coming to the experts on this as I don't want to damage my new can. Thanks in advance.

Plenty of time as the waiting period just began.

I could not see why not, as long as you thread the barrel end of the GSG-5 to the same pitch to what's on the p22

Can't thread the barrel to put the Pilot on. Not "thick" enough.

Thanks, could I use an adaptor?

SBR the GSG with a 9" GSG-5P barrel and get an adapter, 1/2x28 threaded 3 lug etc. I really don't see how you could suppress the factory 16" barrel.
