Two new ones!

A friend stopped by recently to pick up some work I had done for him and brought along a knife gift that he thought would go along with my CAS outfit. He was right. It's an inexpensive folding dagger made by Schrade that certainly looks period. I think it's a dandy. It will be perfect to whip out during lunch breaks at our club SASS shoots.
Today the mailman dropped off a box containing a limited edition Benchmade AFCK that I had pre-ordered 10 months ago. It too is quite the knife and the fulfillment of a grail quest that started when I first laid eyes on pictures of the first edition. Never could afford one on the used market. So, when the opportunity to pre-order one from the second batch for less money, I could no longer resist the urge to scratch this persistent itch. I'm glad I did. It is now the biggest folder in my collection and gives the impression in hand that it can easily handle any challenge that presents itself.
