Not too much else to say. Once again, 3/16" 1095 steel, G10 scales, Corby bolts....ect. With the exception of having one blank already profiled, all the work on both of these was started and completed today. This was my first attempt at making a dagger. What a lot of damn work getting the profiles the same on both sides! I do still need to put the final edge on both, and touch up with some handsanding. Forgive my crappy picture taking skills...

More, soon to come...

That dagger looks like butter. Very smooth.

Thanks! I actually do too! I have been packing it around the last couple days just to see how well it fits in the hand. I'll put it down somewhere just to grab it right back up and mess with it some more. I love the feel of it. The dagger...well I think I'll re work it a little. Looks kind of boring to me. My main concern was wondering if I could get the grind lines straight, and have both sides symmetrical. I didn't do too bad I guess. It did have a real wicked point to it, but I pulled a bonehead move and accidentally shaved about 1/4" off of it.

I finished the hand sanding, polished up the scales, and put the final edges on. I thought I would put in a better effort in shooting decent pics.

Excellent work on that dagger. I like the way you left some flat in the middle and tapered it till the grinds met. Not your typical profile for a hand ground blade. The other one's really not my style but still nicely done.

Thank you sir! It was actually quite a bit of fun. I left the scale to show the contrast. I'm not really the dagger type, but this one is growing on me.
