I've never seen one at a match. However, Trijicon makes really good stuff. If their warranty is good, it won't hurt to try. Their site says their products have a lifetime warranty. Just figure you better be willing to send it to the shop if it doesn't survive.

From the site, I can't tell what kind of reticle they have, meaning laser etched on the glass or wire crosshairs. If it's wire crosshairs, it doesn't have much chance of surviving.

You might call trijicon directly and see if the recommend the scope for 50 BMG. It looks to me like it has enough eye relief.

I agree. I cant find anything on the reticle. I think it would be a great choice due to their quality glass and reputation. Also the fact that it has 4 inch eye relief. Not to sure about the turrets though. I cant find a picture with the caps off but Im sure it is finger adjustable. I did email them and Im still waiting to hear back.

I guess I misuderstood you. I can't imagine buying an UNPROVEN $800 Trijicon 2.5-10 scope when there are so many other offerings out there better suited to 50 BMG. Take a look at Leupold Mark 4 scopes. Depending upon power, you can get into them in the $800 to $1200 range. Pretty darn sure you can get a Mark 4 PR 4.5-14 for under $800 if you look around. Only difference in the PRs is that they have the older style target turrets that have caps. Not as Tacti-COOL as the M1, M2, or M3 turrets. But then the Trijicon doesn't have the Tacti-COOL turrets either.

I thought you already HAD a Trijicon Accupoint that you just thought you'd stick on your new 50. Also, I can't find a mil-dot reticle Accupoint other than their 3-9. Definitely not in the 30mm tubed scopes. Plus the reticle looks way to coarse for long range work.

Just my opinion,

This is what I got back from Trijicon:

Thank you for your interest in Trijicon products. To my knowledge, none of our products have suffered from any type of recoil related failures. All Trijicon products carry a lifetime warranty other than illumination which is limited from 5-15 years depending on the model. Please contact us if you need further assistance.
