I have some questions about the limited edition first run SCAR 16S rifles. How many were made? Also I have heard that they were made in Belgium. Is that true? If so how were they able to import them? I've also heard that the origins of the "limited edition" run of these guns were recievers that had too much of a "gold" coloration to the annodization. Is that true?
The only difference you will see is the colors. Thats it in regards to the new rifles. The limited is real, just no real difference in rifles. They are and were all made in the same places and shipped here, them modified to be sold here. FN is an old huge company that been doing it forever. They dont change how they build them year to year. Also if you ever have a problem with your SCAR you can send it back to be serviced, FN will be around for a long long time.

All SCARS are made in Belgium, imported, then made 922r compliant before release to distributors.
The Limited Editions are a bit more gold in color than subsequent runs, but most vary in color to some degree due to the nature of anodizing.
LEs have the FN logo on on both sides of the receiver rather than just the left side.

Are they shipping the guns in minus the parts that would otherwise be substituted with 922r ones? It seems like that would be a waste of parts and money if lets say every gun came in with a belgian fire countrol group that had to be switched out.
