Stop making the PS-90 tri rail??? Someone mentioned it in the bullpup forum and it's on my "to buy later" list.... Might need to bump to the "BUY NOW DAMMIT" list....

Yes the only continued model is the ugly standard. I think this a big mistake on the part of FN. Hopefuly there will be a clearance and they will drop in price.

I wonder if they are leaning toward dropping the 5.7x28 line all together.

I hope not, as I want an SBR ps90.. But dropping all models but one is odd

I have two Tri-Rails. They picked the wrong model to drop IMO. If they clearance them I'll definitely be picking up another.

I bought a tri rail just because of the bad reviews of the stock sights. Bad move for FN, but maybe the Ps90 isn't a hot seller anymore.

What is needed to be CA compliant? Did they weld the barrel shut? Sorry but your state is one of the only ones worse than mine, I've never been in a better situation before.. Seriously what did they do?

Sadly, that totally sounds like a CA type of legislation.

it also has to be welded by a union welder at a states certified facility

I believe they add a spacer to the stock to make it long enough for CA law, and they also mod the mag so it needs a tool to release.

There is no way that would happen. There are so many military and security branches that use that gun.
Even the Secret Service uses the 5.7 P90 for White House security detail....

I understand they need to recoup the R&D and the tooling to make them, but the P90's been around since... well 1990, and while there was never a major military/NATO adoption of it as a standard issue PDW, I'd have think they'd have sold enough by now that the price should be sub-$1000 on the darn things.

It's just a plastic clamshell body, a barrel with sight base casting, and a blowback action. It's not some uber semi-auto sniper rifle with a shitton of expensive machining or hand fitting.

I've wanted a PS90 ever since they were introduced, but not $1500-1300 worth of "want"...

Didn't they drop them somewhat recently?

Wow I paid either 1200 or 1300 for a black tri rail last year nib(without CA's mods as I live in a better state). I got the tri-rail as it was what they had left and I wanted a ps90. Personally I would have rather gotten a normal one and found one of those low profile aimpoint mounts as my understanding was that it is lower then using an aimpoint on the tri rail model.

I've only shot the thing a few times, been needing to fill out the paperwork to sbr the sucker so I can get it cut down. Hell I even have the gemtech flash hider that is a g5 mount. Just haven't bothered to get it done. Very neat little gun.

If you look at the ones pictured above, it's the standard P90 with add-on rails and sight removed, not the tru Tri-Rail.
