Loose front sight nut on 16s

Was checking the 16S and found the nut that holds the front sight bolt in place was buggered at the factory. Locks eventually but too much movement. It looks like there are actually 2 pins not quite at a 180 degree line. Could not get them out so had to tap one in to keep the nut from coming off. Checked the 17s and it was tight from the factory. Must be a Friday or Monday gun. Anyone else have this on their rifle?

Knock the pins out completely. Make sure nothing is messed up in there. I just replaced that entire screw/nut and pins because the end of the screw broke off completely.

My 16 and 17 are that way, I thought it was normal.

Dunno, I took off the stock sights on both of my SCARs.
