Can you replace the plastic rail on the FS2000 std with a metal one?

If so, anybody know where I can get it? Browning parts?

The tactical rail is a different height and length. It's also about $700 from Browning

If you have access to a machinist with all the right tools i believe he could make you one to fit your standard model.

Easily done, nothing but a grinder and sander needed. Will take 1 hour to do. On the FNForum one guy has a complete tutorial on it. http://fnforum.net/tutorial-fs2000-standard-to-tactical-conversion-t30549.html He states he got the part needed for $400. See what you think.

Hey thats why you bought the rifle, to do what YOU want with it. Its really just your preference, how you want to set it up.
