How well does the factory FN brake work on the FS2000?

I'm thinking that a swap to the pws fsc556 might shave some length and increase performance.

Eh.. The factory brake is more of a 922r afterthought. Open end, large diameter hole.

Something like a PWS would be much more effective

Just read that it has funky threads. I may have to send it to adco for a cut/ rethread/ crown and perm attach at 16".

OP, I have a LNIB PWS 556 for sale. PM me if you're interested.

Happy holidays.

Thanks. I've actually collected a few in the safe that need homes.

9/16x24LH. FAL threads.. The PWS FAL model will work..

However, since it's not the most accurate target bench rest rifle on earth, someone like Marvin can cut it down and pin it, giving you a shorter package and less muzzle rise (with brake)
