What should I expect to pay for an FN-FNC?

I decided I really need one. The last couple I've seen for sale were New No Box Howe Imports in the $4,000 range. Is this a fair price or should I keep looking? Thanks!

Some pop up for sale (Steyr and/or Gun South, Inc.- Birmingham or Trussville末- fixed and folder末- 18"barrels) between $2,750.00- $3,250.00!!!
If you are buying to collect, then spend the money to get NNB/NIB末- $3,750.00- $4,000.00.
But if you are buying to shoot, go the excellent/used route for the amounts above.
The HOWCO/HOWCO- GSI/T were earlier imports with 16" barrels and will command a premium between $250.00- $500.00 .

Thanks!

Just called up the dealer, "Winchester Way" in Woodland Colarado who had an NNB FNC for $4,125.

Fuck them! Called them up today to find out more about the gun and he was a complete ass! I wanted to find out who the importer was and get more pics. Asked "is it possible to find out the importer?" His reply, "No." I asked if it was possible he could find out and get back with me? "No it's not possible!" "You're buying a gun not the Importer." "What does it matter?" I asked if it's possible to maybe get more pics. His reply, "No it's not possible." Then hangs up on me! I'm paying $4,000 for a gun I should be entitled to know exactly what I'm getting! Or at least be more polite with your answer!

DON"T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE ASSHOLES!!!

I see full autos often with 3rd burst install for under $7k on a regular basis, anyone wanting $4k plus for a semi auto is smoking something.

You should be able to buy a semi for $3k or less.

What piss poor customer service. Your requests were very reasonable. Heck, I've asked for more pics for a C&R rifle in the $200 price range.

You should see the Email he sent me. I was so pissed I sent him an Email telling him that he lost a sale because if everything had checked out I would have bought the gun. I told him he must not be a gun enthusiast or he would have understood my reasons for asking the questions I did. He responds by telling me he has probably forgotten more about assault weapons than I'll ever know. This guy is a piece of shit!

I say post his email address and phone number so we can all send emails asking about the rifle then call him a douche! I know, I know.. I'm so mature but it would be fun. The guy sounds like a complete ass.

Been looking at acquiring an FNC myself as I've decided to get one before a SCAR - it being a bit more collectible right now. Cheapest I've seen one is $2500 - and it went quick. I don't think I can get myself to spend $4100 on one though.

There was one just in the EE, I think it was 3,200.
