I got my Ciener kit...
The instructions kind of suck. Can someone post a pic of what it looks like assembled with the sear trip and anti bounce weight?
Also, will this cause extra wear on my lower compared to 5.56? Do I need the anti-walk pins to prevent wear?
Run it as is.
The .22 rimfire kits, in and of themselves, do not cause wear. As Osprey sez, run it as it is.
However ... some kits will not run with the milspec hammer spring –– it adds too much resistance. So a common fix is to switch to a lighter spring, or modify the existing hammer spring. Warning: If you do this, do not leave the light hammer spring in there when you switch back to 5.56 or 9mm. A lighter-than-milspec hammer is very likely to cause increased wear.
I would suggest using KNS anti rotating pins, just because it is a Transferable.
The chances of the holes being egged out are rare, but why chance it, especially considering the 22LR bolt is a blow back system.
If you are getting a lot of stove pipes, add a suppressor or use hotter ammo, CCI stingers or Aguila SuperMax ammo.
